For those that have never attended HMUN India, I can assure you that this conference operates at the highest level and that we pride ourselves on providing delegates with an exciting, educational, and enriching experience that is unparalleled. For those that have attended in prior years, I can guarantee that this year’s conference team holds itself to the same high standards you’ve witnessed before. For this year’s conference, we are thrilled to announce that we will be offering two conference weekends in two locations: HMUN India Bengaluru (August 15-18) and HMUN India Delhi-NCR (August 23-26). We are proud that HMUN India has been in such high demand; we want to do our part to increase the accessibility of the conference, both by raising the overall capacity with the addition of a second weekend, and by diversifying the venue locations to accommodate the geographically diverse schools that attend. This is my third year with HMUN India. As a director in 2022, then the Under Secretary-General for Committees in 2023, and now as Secretary-General, I have had the privilege of watching this conference grow. Our entire team, both from Harvard and Worldview, has been working tirelessly to bring this updated conference to fruition. Here at HMUN India, we strive to not only maintain the professional caliber of the conference, but to improve the delegate experience year after year. While we have some incredible ideas prepared for this new conference structure, we also want to highlight that we have worked diligently to ensure that everything you love about HMUN India will be present in both conferences - pertinent speakers; an innovative conference theme; delegate socials; educational sponsors; a dedicated host staff; HMUN India merchandise; and an enthusiastic Harvard team. The Harvard committee directors and Secretariat will be consistent between the conferences, as will the committee topics, to provide delegates with a comparable, high quality experience, no matter the location they choose. As such, we encourage schools to select the location and dates that work best for them when registering. On behalf of the entire HMUN India team, I know that I speak for all of us when I say that we could not be more excited about this year’s conferences, and we would be honored to have you join us.
